The hall dedicated to the memory of Luigi Luzzatti was inaugurated in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of his election as Prime Minister of Italy.

The “Luzzatti Foundation” contains a large amount of articles (papers, furniture, books, photographs, medals, sculptures, coins, awards and personal souvenirs) which we have chosen for the public to touch, peruse and examine. Only the most valuable coins are behind a glass bar, but they can be examined with an appropriate lens.
The Foundation familiarizes us with a man who had known thousands socialites of his time: our outfitting intends to present the wealth found within these relationships.

At the entrance there are objects hanging from glass panels which recall the three main spheres of Luzzatti’s public life: culture, cooperation and assistance, politics.

Three armoires stand across the way. In them, we see a small portion of Luzzatti’s personal library and his most important editorial works in the field of economic studies.

His desk is placed in a corner, overflowing with papers and magazines. Next to that, three beautiful sculptures dating back to his time which had been sent to him as acknowledgements from institutes and cooperatives.

The exhibit also presents a large quantity of photographs, albums, medals and coins as well as the many awards bestowed upon him. The final piece on display is his deputy seat.

Alongside his public persona, we have inserted significant elements from his private life such as his marriage contract, letters from his children and portraits of many people with declarations of friendship and gratitude.

Outfitting was designed with geometric lines and made out of simple material (wood, iron and glass) in neutral shades (brown and white) to leave room for the objects on exhibit.
